About DofCC

Have you ever seen a dog’s mouth full of sand?

A dog who managed to rouse his human out of the comforts of home and go for a walk…

…A dog who – no matter how excited he was to jump up into the car for a ride – first made the turn to grab his beloved tennis ball…

… A dog who bounced up and down at the beach, anticipating the first throw… and then chased it down with such gusto that he planted his face directly into the sandy beach floor?

Chances are, you just met a Cape Cod dog.

This site is dedicated to the sandy mouths and salty fur of the Cape’s many beaches, boats and dog parks. There’s camaraderie among them, and there’s camaraderie among us.

What you see here is a photography project, with the goal of publishing these images in a quality book for the friends we meet along the way. Stay tuned for more information!
